Liz,
The GPS map will probably get posted on the SCORE site a day or two before pre-run starts.

Most of the frequencies will stay the same from year to year.
I guess you are using one of the pit services (MAG7, Baja Pits), they have their own freq that should be in your radios if they are pre-programmed.

If the problems south of the border weren't bad enough before, now with Pig Flu work won't guarantee approval for my travel to Mexico (Military). No Baja this year for me, too expensive to not get approved at the last minute, or have to pull it al...
Liz,
I use the Lowrance IFinder Expedition Color and Lowrance MapCreate software, it is easy to use and has some really nice features (a full screen speedometer if you press the enter key 3 or 4 times rapidly) good for the speed restricted highway...
Team, I thought of ironman but I am not in shape for it and I have an injured rotator cuff in my shoulder that needs surgery someday. I could do it but, I would be slow.
I might, if I do it will be a last minute decision. I have been laid off for a month now I just need to see what is in the budget. I got a buddy in Vancouver who is an awesome rider, if he goes I will find a way to go.
The WAATVA is running most of the ATV events now.
I'd like to have a chat to you when I've got some more time.
I'm currently in Australia with work until June 6. So I'm getting ready to go to work now.
I'll send some more comments to you overnight.
I spent all summer at Tahuya training for the 2006 B1K. I also raced some desert out there on the east side, a four hour night race at Starvation ridge was cool. You go to the NMA events?
Hi Jay,
I spend most of my time riding the north end of Capital State Forest or looping Tahuya State Forest. Not the best training for this years B1K but the most convenient to get as much bike time as possible over the winter. Looking forward to getting over the Wenatchee side of the mountains as much as I can over the summer. Get in some 24hr rides leading up to the race.
