Team Gear

DOFBRacing is currently evaluating jacket and gear manufacturers to get some team gear. Anyone out there have particularly good experience with having team-branded stuff made? Certainly we'd love to go w/ Bates or the like but they're pretty steep.

Seems that Dakota manufactures much of the technical riding gear that is then relabeled by the major US MotoX companies but, as they're Belgian or Dutch or some such, and we're a tiny little squad, I don't think that route is really an option.

Any guidance much appreciated.

The guys name is Darren and he does all my graphics. I know he does jerseys, custom bike graphics, patches and that kind of thing.

Just get a cool jersey, nobody can see you at night anyway!

No doubt we'll want jerseys and such but I'm still searching for someone who does a good job with custom(izing) jackets. Baja, training, plain riding etc - DOFB is on the hunt for sweet team jackets. It wasn't too cold in the morning or at night last year. Wear what you normally wear for a day on the trails @ 70-80deg
Our experience was that no one will see you in your riding gear. But everyone wants a T Shirt, that was what we were seen in most of the time and got plenty of attention. It was generally only the big teams that had anything at all. By all means sticker yourself up, and make the bike stand out, and take plenty of steekers for the kids.; ▶ Reply to This
